Here’s everything you need to know before booking and enjoying your session at Wild Walkies.
Please take a moment to read through our full do’s and don’ts below before making a booking.

Full Terms & Conditions

  • ✔ DO use our facility as a fun, safe, and secure environment.

    ✔ DO feel free to explore and utilise the entire field during your session.

    ✔ DO inspect the field area to ensure it is safe and suitable for your dog(s) before letting them off the lead.

    ✔ DO act responsibly and consider the health and well-being of your own dog(s) while on-site.

    ✔ DO make use of our field shelter and bench seating.

    ✔ DO contact us immediately if you encounter any issues while at the field.

    ✘ DO NOT use the wash water as drinking water

    ✘ DO NOT walk around the surrounding field/farmland.

    ✘ DO NOT allow anyone under the age of 16 visit without being accompanied by an adult. All children must be supervised at all times.

    ✘ DO NOT leave your dog(s) unattended at any point during your session.

    ✘ DO NOT bring anymore than 8 dogs at any one time.

    ✘ DO NOT arrive at Wild Walkies early, please stick to your allocated time slot.

    ✘ DO NOT visit or use our facility without pre-booking. Wild Walkies operates on an appointment-only basis.

    ✘ DO NOT bring any dog(s) with a virus or illness, such as kennel cough, diarrhoea or other sickness, to our facility.

    ✘ DO NOT let your dog(s) off-lead while moving between the unenclosed and enclosed car park areas.

    ✘ DO NOT remove any equipment provided by Wild Walkies from the site.

  • ✔ All dogs visiting our facility must have a valid vaccination at the time of your appointment(s).

    ✔ Dogs should be up to date with their vaccinations or have a recent titre test and must be regularly treated for fleas, ticks, and worms.

    Regular spot checks are conducted on-site to verify vaccination certificates. Please ensure you bring a printed copy or have access to a digital version of your dog’s vaccination certificate during your visit.

  • ✔ DO rest assured that your safety and security are our top priorities. Our facility is enclosed by 6-foot-high fencing with fixed netting at the bottom and the main gate is secured with a keypad lock.

    ✔ DO know that every reasonable effort is made to maintain the security of our facility, with regular checks to ensure the highest safety standards for our customers and their dog(s).

    ✔ DO contact us if you do not receive an appointment reminder up to 2 hours before your scheduled time, as this contains the keypad code needed for entry. This code is only provided to paying customers for security reasons.

    ✔ CCTV is in operation at Wild Walkies to ensure the safety and security of all using the facility.

    ✘ DO NOT share the keypad code with anyone else.

    ✘ DO NOT allow anyone else to enter the facility during your appointment time. This helps us ensure that everyone on the premises is a legitimate, booking customer.

    ✘ DO NOT use our facility if your dog has the ability to jump a 6-foot fence, as this may compromise their safety.

  • We don’t accept any dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or the Control of Dogs (Scotland) Act 2010 or the Dangerous Dogs (Northern Ireland) Order 1991, or any replacement legislation, unless:

    • The dog is registered or specifically exempted from the applicable legislation and a copy of the exemption order or certificate is obtained and retained by Wild Walkies. 

    • A copy of the owner’s public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and retained by Wild Walkies. 

    • The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household. 

    • The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the exercise field. 

    • The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the exercise field and put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the exercise field.

    • Only dogs from one household can use the exercise field at any one time if any of the dogs are registered as dangerous dogs.

  • ✔ DO ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy during your visit.

    ✔ DO contact us immediately by calling 07788999290 if anyone attempts to enter the field during your appointment time.

    ✔ DO report any potential problems or hazards to us as soon as possible.

    ✘ DO NOT expect toilet facilities for humans at Wild Walkies.

    ✘ DO NOT litter or leave any rubbish on-site.

    ✘ DO NOT smoke or vape in the field or surrounding areas.

    ✘ DO NOT use barbecues or start fires anywhere on the premises.

    ✘ DO NOT climb (children or adults) on the fencing, gates or any equipment.

    ✘ DO NOT allow your dog(s) to jump at the fencing.

    ✘ DO NOT let your dog(s) dig holes in the field. If digging occurs, please fill in any holes before you leave to prevent accidents or injuries.

    ✘ DO NOT throw sticks for your dog(s) in the vicinity of others, as this can be dangerous.

    ALL DOG WASTE MUST BE PICKED UP AND DISPOSED OF USING THE BINS PROVIDED

  • ✔ DO make sure you arrive on the correct date and time of your booking.

    ✔ DO allow the people using the facility before you to exit the car park safely and lock the gate behind them. This procedure is in place at Wild Walkies to ensure complete safety for all our customers and their dog(s).

    ✔ DO be aware that vehicles and contents are left at owners own risk

    ✔ DO be considerate of other dog owners, especially those with anxious, reactive or recovering dogs.

    ✔ DO close and lock the all gates behind you before letting your dog(s) out of your vehicle.

    ✘ DO NOT enter the facility before your designated time slot.

    ✘ DO NOT cause obstructions on South Pickenham Road or in front of the field gateway if you arrive early.

    ✘ DO NOT open the main gate if there are other people in the car park or secure field.

    ✘ DO NOT distract other people's dogs.

    ✘ DO NOT overstay your allocated time slot; leave promptly when your time ends.

    ✘ DO NOT arrive late for your appointment, as you must still leave at the scheduled end of your time slot.

    ✘ DO NOT allow more than three vehicles or families in the car park and secure field at any one time.

  • ✔ DO take every precaution to prevent your dog(s) from escaping.

    ✘ DO NOT hold us responsible or liable for any escaped dogs, as we cannot accept responsibility for such incidents.

  • While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs and their owners during visits, Wild Walkies and it’s staff shall not be held liable for any injury, harm, loss, or damage to dogs, owners, or property that may occur on-site. Owners are fully responsible for their own actions and behaviour, as well as those of their dogs, at all times.

  • ✔ DO share your Wild Walkies experience with us! You can email your photos to info@wild-walkies.co.uk, send us a direct message on social media, or tag us in your stories or posts. By sharing your photos, you grant us permission to use them for future Wild Walkies advertising and promotional purposes, without the need for additional written consent.

    ✘ Owners do not retain ownership or rights to any photographs taken by Wild Walkies staff or other photographers while on-site.

  • ✔ DO make sure you leave the site before your time slot ends.

    ✔ DO keep your dog(s) on a lead or securely in your vehicle while you lock the gate.

    ✔ DO make sure the gate is locked shut when exiting the site, even if there is someone else waiting for their appointment.

  • ✔ We accept most major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

    ✔ Payments are processed securely through our trusted payment platform, Stripe.

    ✘ We are not responsible for any card details that are entered incorrectly.

  • ✔ We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings at any time if necessary.

    ✔ If you're unable to attend your appointment, we kindly ask that you reschedule or cancel in advance.

    ✘ Please note that we do not offer refunds for cancelled appointments.
